The Academy has a diverse membership of psychologists, psychiatrists, medical doctors, social workers, counselors, and nurses throughout the United States, Canada and other countries. The Certified Gambling Addiction Specialist (CGAS) credential is a clinical certification based upon experience providing addiction treatment under the direction of a qualified clinical supervisor, specialized clinical training on gambling addiction, and passing a written online examination.
